Choosing a model

MOMO wheels divide by intended use. The Prototipo and Heritage Prototipo Nero keep the classic three-spoke shape and are the choice for restorations and classic cars. The Montecarlo has a wide leather-wrapped grip and is comfortable in daily use. Competition and Drifting are aimed at track use. Quark, Team and Tuner give a balanced look and grip in modern cars.

What the diameter changes

Diameter changes the steering feel directly. At 350 mm and above the wheel turns with less effort and is easier at manoeuvring speed. At 320 mm and below the response is quicker and more direct, but parking becomes hard work in a car without power steering. Each product page lists diameter, caliper depth and grip section.

A MOMO hub is required

MOMO wheels do not bolt straight to the car. A model-specific hub adapter sits on the steering column and the wheel bolts to the hub. Tell us the make, model and year of your car when ordering so we can identify the right hub with you.

A note on airbags

Fitting a racing wheel removes the driver airbag. For a road-registered vehicle, compliance with local regulations and the safety consequences rest with the user. Outside track use this is worth thinking through carefully.
