MOMO Steering Wheel
MOMO is an Italian steering wheel and interior equipment maker founded in Milan in 1964 by the Formula 1 driver Gianpiero Moretti. Oto Ideal stocks the Prototipo, Heritage Prototipo Nero, Montecarlo, Competition, Drifting, Quark, Team and Tuner steering wheels, along with the Targa and Ultra gear knobs.
What MOMO is known for
The company began with a leather-wrapped wheel Moretti had made for his own race car. It quickly drew the attention of Ferrari and other teams, and the name MOMO came from the first syllables of Moretti and Monza. The wheels are still made in Italy, and the classic three-spoke Prototipo shape has barely changed in sixty years.

A hub is required
MOMO wheels do not bolt straight to the car; a model-specific hub adapter is needed. Tell us the make, model and year when ordering so we can identify the right hub with you. Fitting a racing wheel removes the driver airbag, and for a road-registered vehicle the consequences of that change rest with the user.
