What AutoTuner does
The tool reads software out of engine and transmission control units and writes the edited file back. It works over OBD, on the bench and in boot mode, which is how it reaches ECUs that are closed over OBD. It also supports preparing a virgin ECU after a module change, and immobiliser matching.
